Respite service
Respite service/child care for children with severe and profound disabilities
Estonia Agrenska Foundation offers childcare service for disabled children at weekends and on school holidays as well. Our goal is to develop practical opportunities for disabled children and their families as a whole. Respite care offers some relief for families to rest and function like all other families; offers chance to go back to work or stay on labour market; be successful on a special field; gives parents more time for studies, hobbies and just for themselves; gives more time for the parents and other children growing up in the family and the most important – it gives an opportunity for children with special needs to meet and be together with their peers.
Forms of activities:
- Respite care for children with disabilities as respite camp in summer, as well on other school holidays (several days, including nights); our child minders accompany the children with disabilities in the respite camp.
- Individual child care at home.
- Daycare at weekends.
We have good special educators, educators, nurses, social workers and other specialists and students in our team besides licensed child minders. Estonia Agrenska Foundation has a respite care license since 2 May, 2007.
